OSHA Penalizes Woodworking Manufacturer and Staffing Organization $63,600 for Numerous Amputation Hazards

Terrill Manufacturing Organization Inc., a nearly 70-year-old architectural woodworking manufacturer in San Angelo, Texas, failed to establish lockout/tagout procedures and supply security guards among other violations.

Architectural woodworking manufacturer Terrill Manufacturing Organization Inc. racked up $ 63,600 in significant violations after a number of complaints sparked an OSHA investigation which began in January 2016.

OSHA cited Terrill for 18 significant violations like lack of lockout/tagout procedures and enabling rotating rollers, belts, pulleys, sprockets and chains to operate without having security guards.
