Motor Car Deaths in 2015 Show Big Increase Year-Over-Year

Preliminary estimates from the National Safety Council Show an eight percent increase in 2015 more than 2014.

Preliminary estimates from the National Safety Council (NSC) indicate motor vehicle deaths were eight percent greater in 2015 than they have been in 2014 &ndash the largest year-more than-year percent improve in 50 years. The group estimates 38,300 men and women were killed on U.S. roads, and 4.4 million were seriously injured, making 2015 the deadliest driving year because 2008.
