Acura helped to kick off this year’s 2016 Beijing Auto Show in the largest automobile industry of today with the all-new, entry-level CDX crossover. It’s not only a new crossover to sit below the RDX, it will be Acura’s initial-ever Chinese constructed model.
The new Acura CDX is loosely primarily based off of and is roughly the identical size as a Honda CR-V, but they are considerably various.
Stylistically, the CDX is modeled right after the Acura Precision Concept from the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, incorporating Acura’s newly toned down grille, which says goodbye to the beak of the final decade or so.
Energy is supplied by a turbocharged 1.5L four-banger with 182hp and 177 lb-ft on tap with a twin-clutch eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Buyers can also decide on from a front-wheel drive arrangement only as nicely.
No word as to regardless of whether or not the CDX will go beyond the Chinese market. But I don’t specifically believe we’re missing much.
